The present-day Effelsberg 100-m Radio Telescope is shown in a strict orthographic side elevation with its reflector in the documented 90-degree mechanical zenith reference position. Its parabolic main reflector is 100 m in diameter, and the selected pose has an explicitly derived height of about 87.2 m from the 50 m elevation-axis height, 30 m focal length and 7.2 m apex cabin. MPIfR's directly published 109 m figure is the maximum height in a tilted configuration and remains separate from this outline.
