Anish Kapoor's mirror-polished Cloud Gate in Chicago's Millennium Park is represented in its current completed state without temporary construction elements. Its seamless bean-like volume is assembled from 168 stainless-steel plates and opens into a concave underside arch. The plaza, people, barriers, skyline and reflected scene are excluded.
