Adult Female Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle

An adult female Kemp's ridley sea turtle (Lepidochelys kempii) is represented in a strict orthographic top view and calm symmetrical swim. Two independent federal sources place adults at about 2 ft (0.61 m), while 39 kg is the midpoint of NOAA's 32–45 kg adult mass range. The nearly circular olive-gray carapace, triangular head, and four flippers retain the compact proportions of the world's smallest sea-turtle species.

Dimensions were cross-checked against independent sources before publication.

Measurement basis
